These flat bottomed skiffs are very stable and the Rockport lobstermen use them to transport gear and lobster to and from their boats to the dock. Obviously, theirs are not as clean or colorful as mine!

Helsinki paintings
During the years 1996 – 2005, I lived with my wife and family in Helsinki Finland. One of the series of paintings I produced during that time was an exploration of figures in water.

Bridge paintings
Bridges connect us, are an engineering marvel and hold a fascination for many of us. Before moving to Rockport, I lived not far from the Casco Bay Bridge that connects Portland with South Portland Maine and was inspired by its massive presence.
